Student Housing Committee- BRAND NEW!

The Student Housing Committee is a Sub-Committee of the Membership Committee. This committee is the voice of the Student Housing side of the growing apartment industry. This committee will operate with the following goals:

-         Active communication and influence on the committee and decision makers of Lexington with focus on UK student’s needs

-          University of Kentucky officials and employees involvement in regards to policies and procedures that Lexington has/implements.

-          An active voice in the association for Student Housing professionals

-          Added attention to the needs of students in our community

-          Information to the conventional apartment members about how student housing works and the differences we face

-          Increased networking availability in our community with regards to employees and training for Property managers and their staffs

-          Employee development and exchange of good employees throughout our community

-          Better networking availability in our community

-          Strengthen the voice of the association with more voices and votes by increasing the size of the association
