Manager's Key Council (MKC)

  • This council consists of a group of appointees, all holding multifamily management positions.  It was formed to directly represent on-site management.

  • MKC offers an excellent forum, in the form of annual meetings and roundtable discussions, for property managers to exchange ideas and information.

  • This council is also responsible for organizing one fundraiser for GLAA and presenting the GLAA Vendors with their annual Vendor Appreciation Luncheon.

  • Members of this council must have or be working towards the National Apartment Association’s (NAA) Certified Apartment Manager’s (CAM) designation.

  • The GLAA MKC is a fun and exciting way to get to know your competition and your vendor members.

Job Description

  • Schedule monthly meetings with council members.
  • Prepare an agenda for each meeting and submit minutes from MKC secretary to GLAA Board of Directors.
  • Implement the by-laws of this council.
  • Oversee the selection of new council members.
  • Submit articles for publication to GLAA as they become available.
  • Schedule round table meetings with all GLAA Property Managers.
  • Oversee MKC fundraiser Monte Carlo.
  • Oversee MKC Vendor Appreciation Luncheon.
